It was American Poetry from 1950 to 1960.  the style in Poetry form. This Form has been described as Poetry of Personal Elements or “I”. Focus on individual Experience, the psyche, and Personal trauma. The subjects of this form are Taboo matters such as Mental Illness, Sexuality, and Suicide,
